Livre Paris

  • Press release

    Paris , 1st March 2020

Following the French government’s decision to forbid all indoor gatherings of more than 5,000 people, we have unfortunately taken the decision to cancel the 2020 edition of Livre Paris.

I would like to thank the leading figures for their support on social media, wishing that Livre Paris would still open its doors as planned. However, our duty of care obliges us to take no risk regarding the health the people whom Livre Paris owes its success. These include publishers, exhibitors, authors, speakers, partners from over 50 countries, and, of course, our public representing more than 160,000 visitors, many of them families, who visit us every year.

We look forward to welcoming you to Livre Paris in 2021, an event which promises new discoveries and wonders about books and reading.

    Vincent Montagne
    President Livre Paris
